This week in #kindredspiritsqal we are making grandmothers cross blocks. These are a variation of the granny square. I was inspired to make a mini granny square using some 1.5" #denyseschmidt scraps I've been saving for years! One experiment turned into 4 sweet coasters, measuring less than 5" square! Thank you to everyone who registered for the #kindredspiritsqal yesterday! Im blown away by the response and we have already raised £185 for @shared__threads . You can of course register anytime if you still want to join in! The first block we are making is The Friendship Reel, a sweet 9" block.
