Hi there!
How is your week going so far?
The refurbishment of my new classroom is going well, though keeping me so busy! The walls (which were royal blue and purple!!) are now clean and crisp white! It looks even bigger now!
For my open day on 9th December I'm hoping to have a Christmas display. And I knew exactly what to make to help decorate it.
I made so many of these last year, that they became affectionately known as my 'tipsy tomtes' because of a few 'bottom issues' I had with them.
This time, I bought round curtain weights as per the original pattern, and all bottom issues were resolved!!
So despite a slight tilt (and the usual glue fight!), my tomtes are not so tipsy anymore!
The pattern was originally in a Pretty Patches supplement last December, and you can read more about it here.
So this festive trio will be set out this weekend as I start dressing the classroom, and I promise to take some pics this time!
Happy sewing!
They are adorable!! (Who was in your studio before you and why did they need royal blue and purple walls?!)
