Hello everyone!

Well despite the snow, I had a wonderful day celebrating the opening of my new classroom on Saturday.

Thank you to everyone who braved the weather to come and join in the fun!  It was lovely catching up with friends old and new, and getting lots of positive feedback about the new space.

Of course I couldn’t have pulled any of this off without lots of wonderful support from friends and family!

Don’t worry if you weren’t able to make it to the Mill on Saturday.  I’ve included a little video here of the ‘quiet before the storm’!

I’m so looking forward to getting started with my new classes in January. There aren’t many places left, so if you would like to join us for some creative craic, then please drop me an email to justjudedesigns@hotmail.co.uk.

Happy viewing!

Hi there!

How is your week going so far?

The refurbishment of my new classroom is going well, though keeping me so busy!  The walls (which were royal blue and purple!!) are now clean and crisp white! It looks even bigger now!

For my open day on 9th December I’m hoping to have a Christmas display.  And I knew exactly what to make to help decorate it.

I made so many of these last year, that they became affectionately known as my ‘tipsy tomtes’ because of a few ‘bottom issues’ I had with them.

This time, I bought round curtain weights as per the original pattern, and all bottom issues were resolved!!

So despite a slight tilt (and the usual glue fight!), my tomtes are not so tipsy anymore!

The pattern was originally in a Pretty Patches supplement last December, and you can read more about it here.

So this festive trio will be set out this weekend as I start dressing the classroom, and I promise to take some pics this time!

Happy sewing!
