First of all, photographic evidence that the sun still exists this side of the equator!
|Ahhhh! A warm spot at last!|
|My Christmas Poinsettia lit up by the sun! Beautiful!|
It’s been so dark around here lately, that I’d forgotten what the sun looked like! It was brief yesterday, but lovely nontheless.
And so down to business!
I would highly recommend this 3 month series if you are wanting to start sewing for the first time, develop your sewing skills, kick start a dormant attempt at sewing, or just try out some new patterns.
Sarah has lined up a wonderful list of guest bloggers to post tutorials on a wide range of projects. And I was privileged to be asked to contribute too! In March, I’ll be posting a tutorial on how to insert a zipper into a cushion.
There is also a flickr group where you can post pics of what you make, and join in some helpful discussions, as well as a button for your blog (html code available on Sarah’s blog).
So come and enjoy the fun! The wonderful thing about sewing is that there is always something new to learn, no matter how long you’ve been at it!
