Week 4 in #kindredspiritsqal is The Friendship Star. We are making 2 of these smaller blocks, and our technique focus is #halfsquaretriangles . I love this little variation with the cute pinwheel in the centre. Traditionally, the Pioneer women would have embroidered their names in the centre squares when making these quilt gifts for friends who moved onto to new territories.
