Yesterday was our 3rd and final Aprons Workshop of 2019.
Once again, most of the ladies were making the Cross Back (Japanese) Apron (free pattern available here).
This is a brilliant pattern with beautifully finished french seams on the inside.
Just look at these gorgeous examples!
And one of my lovely ladies was making my Tie Back Apron (pattern available here).
Doesn't she look wonderful (and the apron's not bad either!).
I adore the fabrics Anja has used, combining Essex Yarn Dyed Linen (Denim) with some pretty geometric flowers.
I hope you all enjoy your aprons ladies, and being the dometic goddesses I know you are!
Happy sewing!
fantastic aprons. I am ashamed to say my apron is a very nice navy and white stripe. Nothing wrong with that, but it was for my sons ( I have 2 aprons to alternate if I so desire) home economics class when they were 11. They are now nearly 34. Use it up, use it out and use it again!
Wow! That apron has stamina!! Must have been really well made! Jxo
These look great. I love a good apron, I have several for baking, cooking, cleaning etc. In fact, each of my aprons is for something specific, very anal but it works for me. x
Thanks K! You sound like the perfect domestic goddess! I have several aprons, and even teach people how to make them, yet never wear them at home! My bad!! xo
